Carita Feliz Sports College became a reality on July 4th 2007. On this day the idea of creating the first Sports College in Nicaragua was born, and the first footballs were bought.

After this things moved quickly. Mira Largo, which will be the physical frame of the sports college, was bought. 21 boys from Carita Feliz started playing football, happiness showing on their faces. From then on new boys have arrived almost every day. And after only four weeks we had 49 boys playing and practising.

We can proudly say, that by September 10th the college had 78 boys, 16 girls and 48 cheerleaders practicing and playing at Carita Feliz Sports College.

Mira Largo has been rebuilt to a 1000 m2 unique and modern sports college, with an extraordinary 180° view over Lake Nicaragua.

When Carita Feliz Sports College is fully developed, it will have a capacity of 500 students covering different sports categories including: football, basketball, volleyball, beach volley and baseball.

What we offer at Carita Feliz Sports College

At Carita Feliz Sports College you will live a life full of sport at a highly competitive level. You will experience optimal training facilities and receive training from coaches – local and international. At Carita Feliz your sport activities will be combined with studies at one of the local high schools in Granada.

We offer you an active and interesting sporting environment with state of the art facilities, which give you a lot of opportunities. An average week consists of 25 hour of training and matches in the weekend. Students will stay at the Sports College from Sunday at 4 pm to Friday at 1 pm.

The diet at Carita Feliz Sports College will be diverse and healthy, adjusted to an active life of sports. Meals will be served as a buffet.
